DixSystem

Terms of Service

Effective date: June 2026

1. Acceptance

By purchasing, downloading, or using DIX, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software. These terms form a binding agreement between you and DixSystem (Spain).

2. License grant

DixSystem grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use DIX on machines you own or control, for personal use only.

3. License key and activation

Your purchase entitles you to one license key, which may be activated on a limited number of machines as specified at the time of purchase. The license key is tied to your hardware fingerprint. If you change hardware significantly, contact legal@dixsystem.com to request a transfer.

4. Pricing and payment

DIX is sold at a one-time price of €14.99. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no expiry date. You pay once and own the license.

Prices are listed inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. Payment is processed through our payment provider. DixSystem does not store payment card data.

5. Refund policy

You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase if DIX fails to launch on your system and we are unable to resolve the issue. This right exists in accordance with EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU).

Refunds are not available for change of mind, dissatisfaction with optimization results, or issues caused by unsupported system configurations. To request a refund, contact legal@dixsystem.com with your order ID and a description of the issue.

6. Limitation of liability

DIX modifies kernel parameters on your system. While every change passes a static validation layer before execution and a snapshot is taken for rollback, kernel tuning carries inherent risk.

You assume full responsibility for any changes applied to your system. DixSystem is not liable for system instability, data loss, or hardware damage resulting from use of the software. Always ensure you have a backup before applying optimizations.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DixSystem's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

7. Service availability

The AI analysis feature requires an active internet connection and depends on the Anthropic Claude API. DixSystem does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the analysis service. Planned maintenance and third-party outages are outside our control. The local scan, script validation, and rollback features function without internet access.

8. Updates

DixSystem may release updates to DIX at its discretion. Updates are not guaranteed. Where automatic updates are enabled, they are delivered signed and verified. You may disable automatic updates at any time.

9. Termination

DixSystem may terminate your license if you violate these terms (including unauthorized redistribution or reverse engineering). Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete all copies.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights under EU law.

11. Changes to these terms

DixSystem may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes via the application or the website. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.
